Ezekiel 46-48
Old things becoming new is a sentiment that brings joy, peace, and optimism (at least for me it does.) That is what I thought of when I read chapters 46-48. The Lord taking something that the children had known in the past (something old), something that had been corrupted, and making it new. Seeing the details and how intentional He was with everything, down to the flow of traffic of the people as they entered and exited the outer courtyard. A GOD OF DECENCY AND ORDER!!! I challenge you all to ask the Holy Spirit to show you more about God’s character when reading this chapters, and allow Him to minister to you as you read. Hopefully you can come to enjoy seeing the intricacies within the details. If He was so thoughtful with the instructions of the temple and the worship there, isn’t He just as thoughtful with our temples (our bodies) and how we should worship him? As you read and study, praise the Lord for the old things in your life that He has restored and made new.
