Job 29-31
Are y’all ready for a stroll down memory lane? In these chapters, Job takes back to how life was before these trails and tribulations started… He was a well respected man with clout, money, reputation, and status. People saw him walking down the street and jump up to cleared a path. His name held weight. He knew it and the people knew it. But he wasn’t saying this in a boastful way. Job knows that he only enjoyed this level of prosperity in life because God’s hand was on his life in the most favorable way. Job enjoyed life to the full and had an abundance of wisdom because of the LORD! Now though, Job is openly being mocked by the same people who once sought him for advice and help. He was there to left the people up, and now there is no one to do the same for him. Job even goes on to list the things he has avoided. Job said that he didn’t even allow himself to look at woman and think about how fine or how thick she was. He didn’t mistreat or defraud people. He was/ is a man of integrity. If Job has done something, he wants someone to be able to show him what he has done….
